This approach is particularly useful when a brand new system needs to be connected to existing infrastructure. In industrial plants and municipal buildings, there’s usually unlimited space available or a totally clean space for installation. It could be necessary to modify equipment in order to fit into existing structures, piping, electrical systems and schedules.
